As discussed in Gregory Fraser and Chad Davidson’s book, Analyze Anything, in poem 712 by Emily Dickinson, “death” is portrayed as a gentleman seemingly courting the narrator with a romantic and scenic carriage ride. This picturesque, 19th century, “dapper death”, is a twist on the typical Western image of death.

Create your own twist on death. You can continue with the idea of a dandy style 19th century death. Alternatively, create an alluring persona for death, one that would woo or seem nonthreatening to their victim.

Example:

A death persona of an 18th century harlot who seduces her customers to a sensuous night in bed, then an eternal sleep.
